Winter Break Day Camp

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, we understand that parents need safe and reliable child care and recreation programs for their children throughout the year, not just while youth are in school. Recognizing this need, we offer our high-quality school-age programs in a full day schedule over Winter, Spring, and Summer break.
In addition to our normal daily activities, such as computer learning centers, sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and indoor and outdoor games, during our Day Camps we offer a lunch program, daily field trips, and numerous other activities to keep children engaged and entertained throughout the day.
Our Winter Day Camp is open to school age children enrolled in Kindergarten through High School (younger children can attend one of our preschools), and is operated at our two specially designed school-age facilities: the Huntington Beach Branch and the Fountain Valley-Kingston Branch.
Hours of Operation
We close at 12:30pm on December 24, and are closed all day December 25 and January 1.

Program Information
Kindergarten - High School
During Winter Break, we offer the same programs and activities of our normal before and after school program in an extended full-day format giving children many different activities to choose from. In addition to our general programs, we have special events, a lunch program, daily field trips, and much, much more availble during Winter Break to keep children engaged and having fun! We also have dedicated spaces with age-approriate programs and activities just for Kindergartners and Teens.

Program Prices & Fees
Annual Membership
To participate in our programs, each child must be a current member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley. The annual membership fee is $15 and is valid from September through August each year.
Winter Day Camp, Full Time Contract
Fees for our full-time Winter Break Day Camp are $85 per week (pre-paid). Children enrolled in our full time after school program pay their normal weekly fee.
Winter Day Camp, As Needed Contract
If you only need to attend our Winter Break Day Camp three or less days, an "As Needed" contract is available for a fee of $25 per day.
Optional Field Trips & Special Events
We offer daily field trips during Winter Break, for an additional price. Field trips include: Knott's Berry Farm, Nickel Nickel, Bowling, Movie, Roller Skating, and Boomers Irvine. A schedule including fees and times is available on page 10 of our Program Book.
Payment Policies
Our program fees are billed weekly prior to the week of use, with no deductions for absences, vacations, or holidays. Children enrolled in our full-time after-school program are exempt from the full day program fee during most school holidays, such as spring break. Some activities, such as sports leagues and field trips, are are additional. For the full list of policies, please contact one of our school-age centers.
