The Club has now launched a new community business partnership program to grow grassroots support for the Building Dreams campaign, our campaign to build California’s 1st Boys & Girls Club on a college campus.
Several local businesses have pledged to donate money from every sale to the campaign and shoppers are encouraged to make donations of their own. Others are sharing the Club's dream with their clients in order to raise funds for the campaign. Here’s how it works at each participating location:
A Snail’s Pace Running Shop, located at 8780 Warner Avenue in Fountain Valley, will donate $1 from every sale of a pair of shoes.
Alex A. Accetta, CPA & Associates, Inc., located at 8840 Warner Avenue in Fountain Valley. Having already pledged $25,000 towards the Campaign, Alex Accetta will share the vision of the Boys & Girls Club with his clients, and ask them to match his contribution.
Mangiamo Gelato Caffe, located at 122 Main Street in Huntington Beach, will donate 10% of all sales every Monday up to $10,000.
Surf City Cyclery, located at 7470 Edinger Avenue in Huntington Beach, will donate $5 from every bicycle sale.
California Bank & Trust will be asking each of its customers for a donation of $1 or more with each of their bank transactions.
