Pacific Life Foundation Branch Overview

In 2016, Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley opened its brand new Pacific Life Foundation Branch and Boand Gymnasium, right in the heart of Golden West College’s Campus, completing our Kingston Technology Family Campus on the college campus. This location focuses on serving kids from the Ocean View School District in Huntington Beach and parts of Westminster.

The Pacific Life Foundation Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley is a center for school-age youth (ages 5+), providing full day programs during summer and school holidays and before and after school care during the school year. At the Club, kids can enjoy great adult-supervised recreational and educational activities and programs. This facility is right next door to our Robert Mayer Child Development Preschool, so moms and dads have the convenience of care for their kids of all ages at one location.

Our daily activities include academic enrichment and homework help, computer skills, cooking programs, sports, performing arts, health and awareness programs, and the lots more. Each week, the Club runs fun programs that keep kids engaged and having fun while they learn. Academic focused programs include: Brain Gain, Khan Academy, KidzMath, KidzLit, KidzScience, and Positive Sprouts. Health and wellness focused programs include: Triple Play and Healthy Habits. Arts focused programs include: Image Makers, Meet the Masters, and Creative Authors Club. Character and leadership development programs include: Torch Club, Smart Moves, Smart Girls, Passport to Manhood, and Junior Staff. Click here to read full descriptions of each of these programs.
